Randomly found this chalkboard message in a bar bathroom… Of all places! Lol. I loved it so much that I not only took a picture of it, but I also put it as the background on my phone. I use this as a reminder of how important I am… As a teacher, I have come to the conclusion that I probably touch more lives on a regular basis than I realize. But I chose this career for that reason. I always thought that if I could touch just one life, and help even just one child, then I have done what I am seeking out to do!! I make it my job to help people. Even though we may not always think about it, we are all here for a reason. We don’t always figure out what that reason is right away. Actually, some of us never really seem to figure it out. However, we have to think about the positive presence we bring to others. Every person is probably important to someone else for one reason or another. Whether you are the apple of your mother’s eye, daddy’s little girl, the guiding light for a child, the half that makes someone whole (and the list goes on), you ARE important!!! I recommend keeping little quotes like this around, in convenient places. Sometimes it helps just to read through a positive or loving quote for added encouragement, or at least a smile!! :-)
